Comprehensive Plan
Attached is the Comprehensive Plan as adopted by the Council on December
18, 1995. At this time, the plan does not include a transportation or parks
and open space element. The Council is currently in the process of reviewing
the transportation and master park and recreation plan. Upon the Council's
adoption of these plans, the respective elements will be incorporated into the
Comprehensive Plan.
The Comprehensive Plan is by a no means a document cast in concrete;
therefore, it has been placed in a 3-ring binder to easily accept adjustments
as deemed fit by the City Council. With the understanding the
Comprehensive Plan can be amended should not dilute its intent as a
framework to guide development and growth of the community.
If the City Council has any comments or questions regarding the
Comprehensive Plan, please feel free to contact me or I will be happy to
answer your questions at the meeting Thursday night.
