Pay Estimate
Pay Estimate No. 1 - Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion
Attached is a copy of Pay Estimate #1 to Gridor Construction, Inc., in the
amount of $153,443 for work completed on the Wastewater Treatment Plant
expansion project. As you will note on the pay estimate, the city is not
holding retainage on this project. In lieu of retainage, as allowed by state
statute, Gridor has assigned treasury bills in the amount of $100,000 to the
city. Gridor Construction, Inc., was also the contractor for the interim
expansion at the plant and, at that time, also assigned treasury bills to the
city in lieu of retainage.
Action Requested
The city engineer has reviewed the pay estimate, inspected the work
completed, and recommends payment to Gridor Construction, Inc., in the
amount of $153,443.
