Zinc Panels on the drive thru book drop - e-mailed Jennifer Tuttle 8/28/08
about where the zinc panels for the drive thru book drop were purchased.
Bill thought they might be in the notebooks in the furnace room but I haven't
found anything yet. I'll try Jennifer again.
Drive Thru book drop - e-mailed Terry Maurer 8/28/08 for a cost estimate
on making revisions to the drive thru book drop. He estimates that it will
cost about $25,000 but Bill said he was going to check to see if there was
anything we could do to get the cost down. The money for the project can be
taken out of the library reserve fund.
Fireplace Insert - e-mailed Jennifer Tuttle 8/28/08 about plans to improve
the fireplace insert. Received an estimate from Viereck Fireplace Sales; it
would cost $13,285.00 to put in a stainless tapered burner with heat treated
rocks -replace the old glass with hi-tempered glass and install a power vent
and chimney. This estimate does not include the running electric and gas
lines. It was suggested this money could come from the money saved on
utility bills.

Funding improvements to drive thru book drop -Yes, that is
appropriate use of funds from the reserve fund.
Purchase of aerial view of the library -Will be taken from the
operating Budget.
Funding finishing work on cabinets -Could betaken from the reserve
fund.
Tim will a-mail the budget sheets. I'll forward them if I receive them before
I leave.
