SUBJECT: Board and Commission Interviews
Letters will be sent soon to current board and commission members who have terms
expiring February 28, 2009, asking them to complete a new application if they wish to be
considered fox reappointment. The Advisory Board and Commission Policy states that all
applicants will be interviewed by Council for appointments and re-appointments. There is
currently nothing scheduled for the February worksession and staff would like to tentatively
schedule interviews for that evening.
If the Council concurs with conducting interviews at the February 9, 2009 worksession, staff
would like to include that tentative date in the letters. Afollow-up call would be made to all
applicants closer to the interview date.
