MnDot Tour and Luncheon
The annual MnDOT tour of the city is scheduled for Thursday, May 30, 1996,
at about 10:30 a.m. As a quorum of the City Council is expected to be
present, a formal meeting should be called for this date and time. The tour
may not start until closer to 11:00, but we expect to be meeting with MnDOT
personnel prior to the tour to help explain some of the activities and projects
that have been going on in Elk River for the last few years, along with
projects that are scheduled for the next few years. Following a bus tour to
visit and inspect current city projects and potential projects, everyone will
meet at Russells for lunch. The Press is invited to both the tour and the
lunch.
Requested Action
A motion calling the special City CouncilfMnDOT Tour meeting for 5/30/96 at
10:30 a.m. beginning at City Hall.
