ELK RIVER UTILITIES COMMISSION

I, Jerry Takle, President, hereby request a special closed meeting of the Elk River
Municipal Utilities Commission on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at 4:00 p.m., at Elk River
City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway, Elk River, Minnesota.
The purpose of the special meeting is to hold a closed executive session under Minnesota
Statute 13D.05, subd. 2 in order to discuss partial results of an investigation into the work
environment at ERMU and related allegations concerning an individual subject to the
authority of the Commission.
In accordance with State Statute, I hereby request the city clerk's office to post this notice at
least three days prior to the meeting date. I further request the city clerk's office to notify
each member of the Municipal Utilities Commission of this meeting, in writing, at least one
day before the meeting.
