Council motion to appoint Mayor Klinzing, Finance Director Tim Simon, and Fire Chief Bruce West to
the Fire Relief Association Board with term expirations of January 4, 2010.
Background/Discussion
Per Minnesota Statute 424A.04, the city needs to appoint three trustees to the Fire Relief Association
Board on an annual basis. The Fire Chief is required to be a trustee on the Board. Historically, the Mayor
and the Finance Director have been the two other city trustees.
