Conditional Use Permit Request by Roger Schmidt for Mineral
Excavation - CU 03-02/P.H. and Associated Zone Change Request to
Mineral Excavation Overlay Zoning District ZC 03-01/P.H.
(Postponed to 5/19/03)
At the request of the petitioner, the two agenda items referenced above should be tabled
until the May 19, 2003 City Council meeting. The additional time is needed to work out
access issues for the proposed mining. Terry Maurer will briefly address the Council under
"Other Business" on a proposed Local Initiative Project with the Minnesota Department of
Transportation regarding this access.
These requests will be re-advertised for the April 22, 2003 Planning Commission meeting.
With a new resolution to the access issue, the petitioner hopes to reverse the Planning
Commission's recommendation of denial on his requests.
