SUBJECT: Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 1326 4fh St N.W.
The Holy Trinity Episcopal Church recently applied fox a Conditional Use Permit and Plat
approval for their existing church at 1326 4`~ St NW. They are requesting to add a new
fellowship hall, remodel the existing addition and remove the old house at the corner of 4`~
and Rush for off street parking. The addition is proposed to be constructed by means of a
wood frame with horizontal lap siding and shingled roof. I have attached some drawings
depicting what the building is proposed to look like.
I would like to suggest that the HPC recommend to the Planning Commission that the
addition be consistent with the original church in regards to the windows, siding, shingles,
roof pitch and possibly some additional peaks. Chris Leeseberg, Park Planner is putting
together some schematics of how the building would look if it had these characteristics. I
will be presenting that information to you at the meeting on Thursday, August 9, 2007.
