SUBJECT: Notice of Quorum of EDA Attending Target Data Center Tour
for Monday, May 21, 2007
Action Requested
EDA motion acknowledging to the public that a quorum of the EDA may be
attending a tour of the Target Data Center but not city business will be discussed or
conducted.
Background
The EDA, in conjunction with the City Council, has been invited for a special tour of the
Target Data Center. The EDA and Council will not be convening any meetings and no
action will be taken during this time. There should be no discussion of city business by the
attending members at the tour as it could be seen as a violation of the open meeting law.
Please contact EDA staff to RSVP your attendance as requested by the developer.
Attending Council and EDA Commissioners must arrive at the Target Data Center
construction site, 14100 Business Center Drive, Elk River no later than 4:30 p.m. on
Monday, May 21, 2007 in order to participate in the tour.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Elk River City Council and Economic Development
Authority will be attending a tour of the Target Data Center on May 21, 2007, at 4:30 p.m., at the
Target Data Center, 14100 Business Center Drive, Elk River, Minnesota. A quorum of the Elk River
City Council and Economic Development Authority members may attend the tour; however, they
will not convene any meeting, and no action will be taken by the City Council or Economic
Development Authority during the tour.
