SUBJECT: April 21, 2007 Energy Expo Update
As you all know, Saturday is the day of the big event! Exhibitors will begin set-up at
7:00 a.m. Some exhibitors have been given permission to set-up on Friday because their
booths will be unmanned and some take longer than 2 hours to set-up. Commissioners
should be at the school by 9:00 a.m. to help with registration, directions, etc. We will
be handing out t-shirts so please wear them on Saturday. The purpose of them is so we
can stand out and direct people to ask us questions, directions, etc.
The school tours will begin at 9:00 a.m. The presentations will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Please see attached draft program. Moderators will be given a brief bio of the session
speakers along with time cards to keep the speakers on track. It is very important
that we stick to our time frame. We have also decided to give door prizes for
those who attend sessions. When they come into the session, there will be slips of
paper and a bowl for them to drop their name in. During the presentation, moderators
will need to pick three names and at the end of the session present the prizes to the
three winners.
You will be provided with Expo Bucks to pay for concessions but an Expo Buck is worth
a dollar and you will not receive change so spend your bucks wisely. Thank you for all
