1. Duration...1 year for 2003.
2. Uniforms...Increase by $25 per year to $575
3. Insurance...Increase by $10 per month per employee (same as the rest of the non-
union employees).
4. Wages...3% increase in 2003.
5. Holidays...Add Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as a premium pay holiday (This puts
all eleven holidays at premium pay).
Post Retirement Health Care Plan...If all the employees can agree on the plan, then the
city finance department will administer the plan for the police officers.
Miscellaneous Language Changes...Will be cleaned up as mutually agreed upon by the
union representatives and the city.

2. Compensatory Time...Add language to define usage as a maximum of 4 hours per
day and 20 hours per week subject to approval by the employee's supervisor.
3. Uniforms...Increase by $10 per year to $560
4. Insurance...increase by $10 per month per employee (same as the rest of the non-
union employees)
5. Step Change...Change salary step two from after two years to after one year and
change salary step three from after four years to after three years ,
6. Wages...3% increase in 2003
