Approval of one year extension of the Hillside Estates plat.
Background/Discussion
Ed Youngquist of Riverside Companies is requesting an extension of the Hillside Estates plat. The City
ordinance requires a final plat within 1 year of the approval of the prelitnuiary plat. The subject
development has been completed in phases.
The developer seeks an extension, in part due to the slow down in the residential housing market.
The request is consistent with Council policy, regarding plat extensions for started projects. Staff
supports the request.
