SUBJECT: Part Time Summer Employees
I request the Council's permission to hire two part-time employees for the
1996 season. Funds are included in the 1996 budget for one part-time
wastewater treatment employee. The other part-time employee that I am
requesting would temporarily fill the vacancy left by Patrick Hendrickson.
is staff's intent to hire a full time replacement for the position vacated by
Patrick Hendrickson in the near future.

ACTION REQUESTED
Council motion to hire two part-time wastewater treatment plant employees
at pay grade 1, Level A ($6.54/hour) whose duties will include mowing, sewer
and lift station cleaning, and miscellaneous maintenance.
