Action Requested
Staff recommends hiring Suburban Lawn Care for the 2009 season. Further, staff recommends
authorization to receive Requests For Proposals for the junk abatement, using the same form as last year.
Background
Last year, the City requested proposals for lawn cutting service and junk abatement services, and intended
on doing the same for 2009. In meeting with the contractor, Suburban Lawn Care, as part of our year
end process, they offered to lower their rate $5 per hour, from $50 to $45 per hour.
Staff was pleased with their response time, completion of the work and the quality of their work last year.
