Summer: With our biggest guide ever, we are busy working on staff and putting everyone
into the schedule. Curriculum is being developed on an ongoing basis for Lions Academy.
Ice Show: Staff is busy preparing for the 10`'' annual ice show at the Arena.
Flag Football League: This brand new program began April 26~'.
Sand Volleyball League: With the current closing of the bowling alley, we have been asked
to offer Sand Volleyball Leagues at Orono Park. The league will start the last week of May
and run 10 weeks. We are retrofitting the courts with netting to prevent softballs from
coming over.
Fallen Oak Dualthon: This event is being sponsored by Ramsey Bicycle and they have
donated approximately $1,000 in prizes and t-shirts.
Facility Use
Park - 6 hours
Park Shelter -10.5 hours
Trails - 14 hours
Indoor Facilities - 116 hours
Ball Field -134.5 hours
TOTAL USE - 281 hours

Working with YMCA on 2 Senior Programs. 1) Senior Fitness (similar to Silver
Sneakers) and 2) Mini Field Trips (use YMCA Van & Driver). The YMCA has finally
found an instructor -waiting to confirm the schedule. No confirmation as of 4-24-07.
4-6 Diabetic Support Group; Presentation by Dr. Schuster, Elk River Foot & Ankle Clinic
4-12 A Site visit was done at our Commodities distribution. I will fax a copy of the letter
we received from the CSFP visit.
