SUBJECT: Orono Park Master Plan (Preliminary Option)
Attached please find a preliminary concept for Orono Park. This concept is based on
feedback from the April Park Commission workshop. Staff believes that further refinement
is needed and is seeking Commission feedback.
Issues to consider:
• The parking plan assumes that parking will be available on what is fairgrounds
property.
• The location of tennis courts may cut off views to the lake for the YMCA building.
• What are options for future shared parking with the YMCA
• Are there additional amenities that are potential options?
