Grand Opening at River's Edge Commons Park -This event was well attended and people
were very excited about the new park. It is estimated that 450 people were in attendance.
Fall Programming - We are working on the program guide. It will be delivered August 1S` to
the public.
Park and Play Program - We will be implementing this program mid-summer rather than
waiting until next year. We are excited about the opportunity to provide neighborhood
program.
Pinewood Open - We raised over $2,000 for CAER. The event was well attended and
people had a good time.

Senior Newsletter - we are now doing this monthly newsletter in-house with Sue from the
Senior Center. It is mailed to about 1,000 households who use their services and we will be
including information on other programs as well.
The Rivers Edge Commons Park has become a wonderful place to advertise programs and
parks. The maps and program guides and flyers disappear as quickly as we put them in the
holders. We are excited about this opportunity!

Working with YMCA on 2 Senior Programs. 1) Senior Fitness (similar to Silver
Sneakers) and 2) Mini Field Trips (use YMCA Van & Driver). The YMCA has
finally found an instructor -waiting to confirm the schedule. No confirmation as
of 6-27-07.
Working with RaeAnn to update the senior Good News Letter and to print & mail
it through the City. Cross marketing with other divisions of Park & Rec
6-7 MN Senior Federation Program on Dental Coverage & Rx Drug costs
6-14 Red Hat Event: Red & Wild West Day # 150
6-21 Memory Loss Workshop. Very successful. #25 people in attendance who
have never been to the Senior center before
