Mr. Steve McDonald of Abdo, Eick & Meyers will be at our meeting to present our 2007 audit
and answer any questions you may have. As of this writing, we have not received the audit. As
we get the audit, I will deliver it to you so you may review it before our meeting.
At the March Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission meeting, Commissioner Jerry
Gumphrey questioned our check endorsement procedure where only one person could endorse
checks. Upon considering Jerry Gumphrey's comment, staff has changed our check
endorsement procedure where it now takes two people to independently review the check
register and sign or stamp the checks. Thank you for the observation and suggestion.
