Ach, City Planner~~ July 8, 1996 Resignation of Planning Commission Chair Tom Dillon Attached is a letter from Tom Dillon announcing his resignation from the Planning Commission, effective July 1, 1996. Tom joined the Planning Commission in 1985 and was recently appointed chair this past year. In Tom's absence, Judy Thompson will become chair of the Planning Commission for the remainder of 1996. To expedite the filling of the vacant seat on the Planning Commission, an advertisement was placed in the Star News. Upon receiving applications from interested residents, the information will be forwarded to the City Council for consideration. Due to my upcoming marriage and the fact that I have sold my home, I will be moving out of the City of Elk River. I have enjoyed serving the citizens of Elk River on this commission, it is a great way to serve our community. I say THANK YOU to all of the commissioners on this board, Council, and City Staff.
