TOBACCO COMPLIANCE CHECKS
This is to inform the City Council that compliance checks were
conducted at all twenty-two (22) licensed vendors on June 25,
1996. I am happy to report that all vendors refused to sell
tobacco products to minors.
I strongly feel that this process will greatly reduce the
availability of tobacco products to our youth. I would also like
to inform the City Council that in the near future, the Sherburne
County Public Health Department and all law enforcement in
Sherburne County will be conducting alcohol compliance checks to
reduce the availability of alcoholic beverages to our youth.
