Action Requested
Council approval of retail fireworks license renewals for Coborn's and Cub Foods in Elk River. The
license renewals are valid for one year from the date of approval. Cub's license should be contingent
upon receipt of a letter from the property owner consenting to the sale of fireworks.
Background/Discussion
Coborn's Incorporated and Cub Foods are requesting renewals of their retail fireworks licenses. Both
applicants have submitted all the necessary application materials, successfully cleared police department
background checks, and inspections by the fire chief.
