SUBJECT: Continuation of Council Planning Workshop
At the February 9 workshop, the Council identified a list of future projects and initiatives for
the various boards and commissions to address. The next part of the planning process is to
do the same for the City. Developing this list of projects and initiatives for this year and
future years helps the staff to implement and achieve the Council's priorities. It also helps to
focus our resources on the items that are important to the Council which is essential in times
such as these when our financial resources are stretched thin.
Please refer to my February 2 Council Planning Workshop memo fox additional background
information on this topic. That memo includes a worksheet for listing the projects you
would like to discuss on Monday. Following Monday's meeting I will compile the results of
both planning workshops and present the information back to the Council for final review.
