City of Elk River Request for Ordinance
Amendment to Establish New Use
Entitled "Animal, Nutrition, and
Agricultural Research", Public Hearing
No. OA 96-9
Issue
Request by the City of Elk River to amend Section 900.08 and Section 900.12 of
the City Ordinance to include a definition for animal, nutrition and agricultural
research and include it as a conditional use in the A1 and Rla zoning districts.
In order to allow an opportunity for further discussion between the City and
Cargill regarding this issue, it is recommended that the Council table this item
until next month.
