Action Requested
Staff and the Planning Commission recommend the City Council approve the conditional use permit
request, as illustrated on drawings dated 1/20/09, with the following conditions:
1. As a conditional use permit is not a building permit, the applicant shall apply for all
require permits.
2. A sign permit is required for all allowed wall and freestanding signs.
3. All animals shall be kept indoors.
Planning Commission Discussion
They unanimously recommended approval of the request with the conditions as present by staff.

SUBJECT: Site Plan Review Meeting of Tuesday, February 3, 2009
The site plan review committee met on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 and I would like to make
the following comments:
1. Conditional Use Permit Request by Metropolitan Gravel Co. to allow
expansion of current use at 15683 Jarvis. CU 09-07
The Fire Department has no concerns.
2. Conditional Use Permit Request by Sheller Liestman for dog ~roomin~ facility
~Scoob~ Dos) at 18857 Freeport ~Heying Addition) Case No. CU 09-08
The Fire Department has no concerns.
3. Conditional Use Permit request by Karl Bekius for composting oueration at
existing Midwest Asphalt mining location (12168 221St Ave) CU 09-09
The Fire Department has no concerns.
