Background/Discussion Northbound Liquor Store was built in 1997. Since that time, very little building repair and maintenance costs have been associated with the building. The proposed remodel repairs are the original items from when the store opened back in 1997. There have been approximately two million patrons to the store over the past 11 years. The scope of the project includes remodeling the men's and women's restrooms, new cash register cabinets and countertops, and replacing the file in the checkout area. Dave Potvin, Liquor Store Manager, will be in attendance at the Council meeting to answer any questions about the scope of the project. Financial Impact The project will be funded out of the Municipal Liquor Store enterprise fund. The budgeted amount was $35,000. Quotes were obtained for the project and the final amount totaled $24,360.
