Commissioner Dietz requested a list of customers who are connected to City sewer but
are not connected to City water. Because of the Data Privacy Act and the fact this is a
public meeting, the list is not included under New Business, Item 6.2. There are 45
names on that list and they can be found scattered throughout the City. Elk River
Municipal Utilities Rules requires residential units to connect to city water services
within 2 years of the date the service is available.
In addition, there are 61 names on a list of customers billed water but not sewer, and 100
on the list of customers not billed for either even though city services are available.
