Sub-Contractors List -Thanks to Tim Simon, Butch Pelarski and Gary
Lore for providing me with asub-contractors list so we can finish repairs.
Drive Thru book drop -Called Terry Mauer 7/23/08 -he'll be putting
together a plan and cost estimate for improvements to the drive thru book
drop. Called the installers of the book drops about extending them 8/18/08 -
they will check and call back
Fireplace Insert -Contacted Jennifer Tuttle 7/23/08 she is checking with a
company called `Viereck Fireplace' in Prior Lake, Minnesota. I called the
company on 7/29/08 to see if they had been out to look at the unit. They
called back on 7/30/08 and are faxing ideas and cost estimates. Looked at the
fireplace on 8/18/08 to see what would be the best option.
Lawn Care -Talked to Tim Simon about the expenditure; this is for one
month -includes fertilizer, mowing, trimming, Called Rodney about killing
weeds in the bricks 7/30/08 done 7/30/08
Doors in the Community Room -called the door company 8/5/08 -they
called back 8/10/08 -I recalled 8/19/08 about repair schedule.
Cabinets -called the cabinet company about:
Cutting down the front counter so they filing cabinets fit properly
Adding drawer extensions
Finishing the trim on the slatwall
Putting the fridge were it belongs
Building a cabinet around exposed pipes
Received an estimate of $766.00 to do all repairs -need board approval to
proceed.
Ballasts have been installed on the tables in the reference area by Andy's
Electric 8/19/08. We have a bad switch on one table and are missing the
channel for the cables. Called the manufacturer on 8/19/08 waiting to hear
back from them.
Miska Electric replaced the ballast for the light in the front entrance
Patio Completion -Pavers and landscaping have been completed and tables
and chairs have been added.
New Business
Internet Stations -Great River Regional Library installed all new Internet
Stations with Flat Screen Monitors. Thanks to a purchase from the Friends
of the Library a new circulation terminal was installed in the workroom. We
only have enough voice lines for one more Internet station.
