Attached is a petition for a request to install a street light on Co Rd 33 by the entrance of
AME Red-E-Mix, Plaisted Companies & Aggregate Industries. There are numerous
poles with overhead lines available in this area to attach street lights.
In years past, the street light committee reviewed these requests and made a
recommendation. The street light committee has not met in years due to lack of street
light requests. I think the current committee is Glenn Sundeen, Jerry Takle and Police
Chief Jeff Beahen. Staff recommends a street light be installed at this location.

We are all very happy with the recently completed improvement project on County Road
33.
The new road alignment has caused us some concern though. The entrance into our
businesses off the county road is extremely difficult to identify when it's dark. We have
had several people drive by it, in an attempt the find us.
We request that you put a street light on the north side of County Road 33 at the entrance
to our businesses. If you need more information from us don't hesitate to contact us. You
