The 1996 amendment to the safe drinking water act required all community water
systems to deliver an annual water quality report to their customers. The goal of the
consumer confidence report is to provide information to customers about their drinking
water without confusing or alarming them and to:
1) Advance customer understanding of drinking water
2) Heighten awareness of the need to protect water resources
3) Enhance the image of the professionals in the drinking water community
Attached is our 2005 Water Confidence Report. This is included in the May 2006 utility
bill.
