The City Council is asked to approve the deferment of special assessments for Constance Moldenhauer
and cancel the assessment on parce175-132-4115.
Background/Discussion
Chapter 62, Section 1 of the Elk River City Code addresses the deferral of special assessments. Citizens
may defer special assessments if they axe 65 years of age or older or retired by virtue of permanent and
total disability.
Constance Moldenhauer has applied for a senior citizen deferral of the Boston/Concord assessment for
her parcel number 75-468-0260. Ms. Moldenhauer meets all of the requirements for deferral.
Ms. Moldenhauer also has a parcel (75-132-4115) which was assessed in error. This assessment will be
cancelled and the amount already paid ($5,586.31) will be applied as follows:
Parcel 75-468-0265 -remove balance of $1,689.37
Parce175-468-0270 -remove balance of $1,327.29
Parce175-468-0260 -reduce balance by $2,569.651eaving abalance remaining of $7,776.40
