SUBJECT: Update Regarding Sherburne County Discussions of Equipment
and Manpower Sharing
At Monday evening's City Council meeting, I would like to give the City Council an oral
update on a series of discussions we have been having with Sherburne County Public Works
regarding the potential of our two entities sharing equipment and manpower. We are very
close to a workable agreement that could be implemented in the next 30 - 60 days. I would
like to take Monday evening as an opportunity to review it with the City Council to ensure
that you are in agreement that this is an appropriate agreement to enter into, in an effort to
more cost-effectively accomplish the Public Works Department tasks.
