Purchase of a Rotary Roadside Mower
The purchase of a roadside mower was approved in the 1996 budget with
funds designated from the street equipment reserve in the amount of $5,000.
I request City Council authorization to purchase a new Hardee mower from
Doyle Equipment Company for $2,343 including tax.
This mower will be attached to our Tiger 6600 tractor that is now equipped
with a 5 foot side mounted rotary mower so that many of our roadsides will
be mowed in one pass rather than two, giving us a great deal of savings in
labor time.
