SUBJECT: Liquor Store Cargo Van
On March 26, 2009, the Liquor Store cargo van was involved in an accident in which a
vehicle rear-ended the van. The van sustained considerable damage and the League of
Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust division considered the van totaled. Thankfully, all
persons involved appear to be okay. Since the vehicle is considered totaled, the league will
be taking the vehicle and we will be replacing the van. The state contract for a similar van
exists with Elk River Ford, so we will purchase a replacement van with the insurance
settlement. The new van will take six to eight weeks from the time ordered to be delivered.
