The Mayor and City Council are asked to adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the donation of
rubber floor matting by Super Mats, valued at approximately $30 (thirty dollars), for use by the Elk River
Police K-9 Unit.
Background/Discussion
The rear floor matting in the Police Department K-9 Unit squad was in need of replacement. Brian Jones
of Super Mats donated the replacement matting to the Police Department.
Financial Impact
A product donation valued at $30 (thirty dollars) was received.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River received a donation of rubber matting from Brian Jones
of Super Mats for use by the Elk River Police Department K-9 Unit in its squad; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Ciry of Elk River,
by at least atwo-thirds vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Super Mats for their
donation.
Passed and adopted by the Ciry Council of the City of Elk River this 20`'' day of April, 2009.
