HIGHLAND ROAD YIELD SIGNS
I have received a request to evaluate Highland Road and all of the
side streets that empty onto it in regards to yield signs.
In looking at this stretch of roadway which is a through street by
design, I feel that all of the side streets should be regulated by
stop signs rather than yield signs.
I am, therefore, requesting that all of the yield signs along
Highland Road from Jackson Avenue to Proctor Road be changed to
stop signs. I have discussed this with the City Engineer and City
Planner and they both concur.
