Temporary Beer License for Elk River
Lions
The Elk River Lions have made application for a temporary beer
license. The Lions intend to sell beer on September 7, 1996, at the
Elk River Fire Department during the open house and barn dance.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council motion to grant a temporary beer license to the Elk River
Lions to allow the sale of beer during the Fire Department open
house and barn dance.

Bids on Pickup Box
The 1996 Chevy I ton truck that was purchased this spring for the Street
Dept., came equipped with a pickup style box even though we ordered it as a
cab and chassis. Since then, we have had a fiat rack and rear lift gate
installed on the truck, so the pickup box is excess.
Staff' decision was to advertise in the Minneapolis paper for bids on the box.
We received four bids:

My recommendation is to accept the bid from Tisdel's.
