Adopt attached resolution acknowledging the monetary contribution from First National Financial
Services pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
Background/Discussion
Representatives from First National Financial Services were present at the May 4, 2009, City Council
meeting and presented $1,440 to the Elk River Parks and Recreation Department to cover expanded
hours at the Activity Center.
Financial Impact
A donation in the amount of $1,440 was received.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the Ciry of Elk River received a $1,440 donation from First National Financial
Services with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for the expanded
hours at the Activity Centex; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council. of the City of Elk River,
by at least atwo-thirds vote, to acknowledge the support and commend First National
Financial Services for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 11``' day of May 2009.
