Dear Chief Beahen:
We would like to acknowledge one of your fine officers for the time he spent with our
family on May 2, 2009. At our youngest son's birthday request we contacted Cheryl at
your department to arrange to meet with an Elk River Police Officer. Officer David
Windel went above and beyond our expectations. Our three sons were given the
opportunity to tour his squad car and inquire about his responsibilities and police
equipment. Officer Windel reinforced the positive role of our community's police
officers while teaching our boys about safety. The experience was enjoyable, educational
and memorable for us all!
We were quite impressed with your department.
God Bless You All.
Sincerely,
Christine S. Harvey f
