Action Requested
Adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary contribution from Les Boernke pursuant to
Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
Background/Discussion
The City of Elk River Police Department received a $100 donation from Residential Mortgage Group
Inc. on behalf of Mr. Les Boernke with the intent that it be used by the Police Department for general
funds.
Financial Impact
A contribution in the amount of $100.00 was received.

RESOLUTION 09-
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $100.00 donation from Residential Mortgage
Group Inc. on behalf of Mr. Les Boernke with the intent it be used by the Elk River Police
Department for general funds; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
by at least atwo-thirds vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Les Boernke for his
donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 18`h day of May 2009.
