SUBJECT: Major Park Use -Use of Orono Park for a Customer and
Community Appreciation Event
Re uest
Keller Williams Reality is requesting the use of Orono Park to host a customer and
community appreciation event. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12`h from
2:00 - 9:00 p.m. and will feature an antique car show, music, and food vendors. This event
is a fundraiser with proceeds going to local charities. They are hoping for approximately
200 - 500 people.
Information for your consideration
• This is a resident group
• This event was held in 2008 for the fist time and had no issues or concerns
Staff Recommendations
• No fees or deposits charged for use of the park.
• The group will be responsible for any expenses incurred such as extra portable toilets
or trash clean up as required.
• Certain areas of the park will not be permitted to the group in order to allow other
currently scheduled programs to function.
