5.1. Fire lace
The Board approved at May's meeting to give the contractor one last
opportunity to Finish the job. ~~ this was not done then a quote would be
obtained from another contractor, Since the last meeting another contractor

was brought in and we were informed that another contractor• cannot finish a
"'custom" job. ~1'e did review the options presented by Fireplace Gallery
Bill will male a call to the current engineer to see if he'd finish the pxoject.
The process will be started to take the current contractor to Small Claims
Court.

The bumpers are installed and landscaping done. The concrete on the
building will. be pressure washed to remove black marls.

will talk to Bill from the City zT department to ensure what is purchased he
would be able to ~•epair it.
G.2. Self Checl~out
The Friends of the Library are donating $500 to buy a credit card machine so
patrons who owe over ~G.00 could still use self checkout and swipe their
card.
7. GRRL Restructure
The proposal went in front of the board in June, At that time they asked for time to
review, it will be discussed at their next meeting,
8. Com:munt~V Room Policy
A group that is raising concern with the Libxa~y is also raising the same concern
regarding the Lions Park and Activity Center. They have requested policies from
every room that can be tented :gin the City. ~Ie are going to defer to the City
.~ttarney, he will examine the policy and will get back to us in August, John Dietz
will respond to the concerned party.
