WHEREAS pursuant to a City Council Resolu~on 09-26, passed at the May 18, 2009 meeting,
competitive bids were solicited and received for the Norfolk, Morton, Lowell, Ding Avenues
Street Improvement; and
~1HEREAS the City Council has considered the amount of the bids and the responsibility o£ the bidders
and determined that Rum River Contracting Company is the lowest responsible bidder;
1V®w, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota:
1. The Mayoa.~ and City Administrator are authorized and directed to execute, on behalf' of the City, such
contract with Rum River Contracting Company, as is approved by the City Attorney, for the
completion of the Norfolk, Morton, Lowell, ling Avenues Street improvement according to the
approved plans and specifications designated by City Council Resolution,
2, The City Administrator is authorized and directed to forthwith return to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids upon execution of the contract specified above.
