Subject: Planning Commission resignation
Jeremy,
I left you a voicemail last week regarding my need to resign my planning commission seat. I
have not heard back from you regarding any formal requirements in order to resign. Therefore,
please accept this as my official resignation.
I am not pleased with this decision but the demands of my new position with a litigation firm in
Minneapolis make it necessary. I will not be able to dedicate the same amount of time and
attention to the planning commission as my previous job allowed. I realize that my commission
is set to expire in only seven months, but I simply cannot make it until then and still feel
confident that I am providing the city with the best reprsentation on the commission.
If you need anything further from me please let me know. It has been a pleasure volunteering
with the City and I hope to be able to provide volunteer services in some capacity again in the
future. Please pass this news on to the other commissioners and the city council.
Thank you
