CONTRIBUTION TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk RijTer is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk R - \Ter received a $1 000 donation from Wal-Mart with the
intent it be used by the Police Department for squad equipment.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE I'T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
by at least a two - thirds vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Wal -Mart for their
donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 3" day of August 2009.
