SUBJECT: WILD AND SCENIC ORDINANCE
AMENDMENT/PH OA 96-11 (TABLE)
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resource's (DNR) draft Wild and
Scenic River Ordinance is not acceptable to the City. As drafted it would
make Elk River's historic downtown non-conforming.
Staff is still waiting to meet with the DNR on this subject and we don't know
when that will be. We recommend this ordinance is tabled until a date to
be readvertized.
