Hiring of New Firefighters
The Elk River Fire Department currently has openings for up to 3 additional
Firefighters. The Elk River Fire Department by-laws authorize up to 35
Firefighters. The current level of Firefighters in the Elk River Fire
Department is 32 members.
At this time I am seeking Council approval to start the selection process for
the addition of 3 Firefighters for the Elk River Fire Department.
The entire process of advertisement, screening, interviewing, and selection
should be completed within 2 to 3 months.
