Hot Topic(s) of the Month
July is the month in which the majority of our summer programs are in full operation.
From the Summer Playground Adventure program to Adult Softball, a full compliment of
activities for Elk River Residents of all ages have been offered. From a facility rental
standpoint wedding rentals at Rivers Edge Commons has been very popular this summer.
To date 15 groups have rented Rivers Edge Commons in 2009 for their weddings. That
number is more than doubled from the 2008 volume.

• Currently 525 memberships have been paid For 2009 (306 Total for 2008)
• This year we hosted 2 Night to Unite Parties. 'The first one at noon at 350 Evans.
Police and Firefighters joined the seniors for lunch. #65 people attended (including
5 Police & 3 Firefighters).
