wLIEREA~, Minnesota Statutes, Section 4G9,107, Subdivision 1, autl~.oxizes the
Economic Development Authority to levy an amount not to exceed
. ,01813 percent of the taxable market value .in the city to fund the
Authority's anticipated budget needs fox the fiscal year 2010; and,
wHEREA.~, the Elk River Econotl~ic Development Authority will adopt and approve
its budget and will forward such to the City of Ella R~.ver pursuant to
Min~.esota Statutes, Section 469.100, Subdivision 2,
New, THEREFORE, RE IT RES~LVEI~ by the Economic Development Authority iii
and fox the Cit~T of Elk River, Minnesota, that it hereby requests t11e City Council of the City
of Ells River to levy a tax in the amount of ,01813 percent of the taxable ~narl~et value i~~ the
city fox the year 2010 for the benefit of the Authority to be used for Econo~x~ic
Development Authority purposes as provided by the statute,
