Approval of a special event permit and atemporary on-sale liquor license to the Elk River Eagles Club
for September 12, 2009 with the following conditions,
® The liquor license is not valid until approved by the Commissioner of Public Safety.
Event must be held in an area that is fenced in with secured and controlled access and be
compact and contiguous to the licensed establishment.

The Elk River Eagles Club is requesting approval for a special event on Saturday, September 12, 2009,
from noon -midnight. The Eagles will be having a cookout and a band. They would life to serve alcohol
to members and guests outside their establishment in the parl~.ng lot. State law allows for these types of
events as long as the area is compact and contiguous to the licensed establishment. The area must be
fenced, have secure and controlled access, and be covered by liquor liability insurance. The anticipated
attendance is approximately $5 people. Similar events have been held in the past,
All application materials and proper liquor liability insurance has been received.
